LAGNA
(ASENDANT) CHART
LAGNA
(ASENDANT) CHART
Horoscope
means position of planets at the date, time, place, and country of birth of an
individual. These planetary positions are placed in a chart, which is called as
Lagna Kundli, or an ascendant chart. There are three main factors to be checked
in a Kundli or
Lagna chart as follows:
Lagna
/ ascendant indicates the human body.
The
position where moon is placed indicates the human mind.
The
position where the sun is placed indicates the human soul.
It is the combination
of the three viz Body, mind, and soul which makes a perfect human being.
By analyzing these charts an astrologer is able to forecast the individual
personality, health, education financial position, domestic and professional
life. The planet moon astrologically is considered as satellite to earth and
therefore the position of moon is very important for the human beings. The
mahadasha of the ruling planets is determined from the Nakshetra (constellation)
occupied by moon at the time of birth. The human body and all human
functions are divided in twelve equal parts and therefore the horoscope contains
12 houses or bhavas each consisting of 30 degrees governed by nine planets. The
particular area or the house of a horoscope when afflicted by evil planets, then
the significations of that house suffer. For example if the fourth house and its
lord are afflicted then there are indications that the man will remain restless
and lack peace of mind and may not have the items of luxury and comfort in a
satisfactory manner. The
affliction of seventh house will mean bad domestic life. Similarly the 10th
and 11th houses will create dissatisfaction in professional and
financial matters if afflicted by evil planets. To improve the significators of
the afflicted areas there are remedies possible by use of proper gemstones or
other remedial measure, which can be provided on request
